EMILY PRESCOTT: Kate Moss launches new wellness brand Cosmoss

EMILY PRESCOTT: Kate Moss abandons her old hard-living life as The Tank, reinventing herself as a health guru with her wellness brand Cosmoss

She was known as ‘The Tank’ for her ability to drink long into the night – but Kate Moss is now reinventing herself as an unlikely health guru.

In the last few years, the supermodel has overhauled her lifestyle, swapping hedonism in the world’s capitals for early nights and gardening in the Cotswolds.

Now she has joined the burgeoning band of celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow and more recently Robbie Williams by launching her own wellness brand, labelled Cosmoss.

Its website details how these days Kate is up with the lark, not stumbling home from a club.

Still in its testing phase, the website states: ‘Kate’s ideal rituals balance body and soul with the natural environment and the circadian cycles… The ritual of dawn focuses on preparing our body for the new day and filling it with positive energy.’

That morning ritual is said to start with a cup of ‘dawn tea’ to ‘protect the body against toxins’.

She then cleanses to ‘remove impurities’ and applies face cream to reduce wrinkles and ensure ‘well-rested skin’. Afterwards she sprays a ‘hypnotic sacred mist’ to bring her ‘emotional balance and a sense of inner peace’.

Naturally, all the products are on sale via the website, including a pack of 25 tea bags – both dawn and dusk – costing £21. Meanwhile Golden Nectar CBD face oil costs £98, her Sacred Mist fragrance costs £72 and a range of face creams and cleansers would set you back £55 each.

The website features pictures of Kate taking a walk in a poppy field as well as her looking serene in a bikini on the beach.

The star has been modelling less and less in recent years, choosing instead to launch business ventures which place her behind the camera.

In 2016 she started an eponymous modelling agency, with own daughter Lila, 19, as the star client.

Her drive towards a more healthy lifestyle began several years ago when she gave up alcohol with the encouragement of DJ friend Fat Tony – a former cocaine addict who now advocates a 12-step fitness programme.
