Katy Perry, Mavis Staples, and Norah Jones are scheduled to perform at a David Lynch Foundation benefit concert to raise funds to help bring transcendental meditation to 10,000 people in the Washington, D.C. area.
The benefit concert, scheduled for The Anthem in Washington, D.C. on October 11, will also feature appearances by The Celebration Gospel Choir and Jeremy Elliot.
In a post on Instagram, Perry described transcendental meditation as “one of the most important tools I use to keep me balanced and creative with a positive mindset.”
Pre-sale tickets for the Silence the Violence benefit concert are on sale now, with general on-sale tickets available Friday, August 23, at 10 am ET.
