Kim Kardashians lavish birthday plans halted as private plane is unable to land

Kim Kardashian's lavish birthday plans came to an anti-climax after the private jet was unable to land in Las Vegas due to horrendous weather conditions.

After a lovely meal with her friends, Kim was hoping to fly the group to Sin City in her sister Kylie’s private jet, worth a staggering $72.8million.

The group were hoping to see Usher perform in Las Vegas, but unfortunately, the cross-state trip was not in the cards.

"Vegas baby!" Kim, 42, told the camera as she boarded “Air Kylie” wearing a diamond-crusted bra and matching flared trousers while flanked by some iconic Las Vegas showgirls.

The private jet had been decorated with an array of party decorations, including birthday balloons, feather boas, personalised Kim shots and masks of Kim's face.

In true Kardashian fashion, the jet even had a personalised Kim cocktail menu with items like KimTinis, Billionaire's Beverage, Keeks' Kougar Kourage and bowls full of jello shots.

But lady luck was not on the reality star’s side, and soon the night came to a screeching halt.

Due to severe weather conditions, the plane was not able to land.

Kim explained: “The plane couldn't land due to the wind so looks like our party and Usher concert isn't happening.

"We are heading back home.”

Khloe Kardashian, 38, also shared some snaps with her followers and was seen on a phone call to Usher to explain the situation.

While it’s not quite what they imagined, the group ended the night with a trip to In-N-Out for a burger and fries.

As Kim grappled with disappointing birthday plans, ex-husband Kanye West, 45, was dropped by luxury fashion brand Balenciaga.

"Balenciaga has no longer any relationship nor any plans for future projects related to this artist," a spokesperson from the parent brand told Women’s Wear Daily.

The decision came after a string of troubling behaviour from the rapper that saw him suggest slavery was a choice, and brand Black Lives Matter a “scam.”

During Paris Fashion Week, the fashion designer was photographed wearing a White Lives Matter t-shirt alongside inflammatory political commentator Candace Owens.

Following the viral moment, Black Lives Matter released a lengthy statement addressing the situation.

A portion of the statement detailed: “Kanye West and Candace Owens sent a performative dog whistle to millions. Kanye knows very well that ‘white lives’ have never been targeted for oppression.

“Black folks, in contrast, are at the bottom of virtually every economic, social, and political measure because of centuries of individual and institutional racism.”
