Machine Gun Kelly dropped the second trailer for his upcoming feature film Downfalls High on Tuesday (Jan. 5) and revealed the release date of the movie as well.
Trippie Redd, blackbear and Iann Dior appear in the clip. The teaser also features a cameo by “Pretty Girl” singer Maggie Lindemann, who is making her acting debut in the movie.
Kelly, who co-wrote and co-directed Downfalls High with Mod Sun, will narrate the film, described as “first of its kind musical film experience.” The movie, which is based on MGK’s Tickets to My Downfall album, will be out on January 15.
The project, which was described by MGK as “a pop-punk Grease,” was reportedly captured in just four days.
“It was almost like shooting 14 music videos back-to-back, but with a narrative that’s outside of my personal life stories,” MGK had said earlier about the movie.
He added, “It focuses on other characters, and then me and [Travis] are just the narrators. It’s an interesting concept because it hasn’t been done for an album ever, maybe outside of like Pink Floyd‘s The Wall.”
MGK had released a 15-second first teaser late last year. It revealed glimpses of Travis Barker, Chase Hudson and Sydney Sweeney.
