Meghan Markle May Need To Be Induced

Meghan Markle‘s plans for a home birth may just have been ruined, can report.

According to The Sun, the Duchess of Sussex is one week past her due date and will need to be induced if no progression is observed in the next 48 hours.

As a geriatric pregnancy, the concerns of birthing complications and developing health conditions are higher, thus requiring more assistance during the labor process in what would have to be a hospital birth.

“Meghan is nervous about complications such as an emergency Caesarean and doesn’t want the pressure of having to look immaculate on the hospital steps just hours later,” a source told The Sun. “Like any anxious first-time mum, she’s worried about the birth itself.

The source added, “Meghan also has the added stress of the world’s attention on her – everyone wants to catch the first glimpse of the new royal addition.”

Now, Meghan, 37, is said to be “calm” and comfortable” as she is surrounded by loved ones including her husband Prince Harry, 34, and mother Doria Ragland.

As Radar recently reported, the Duke of Sussex and his wife took a jet to their new Frogmore Cottage home to await the baby’s birth. He is able to keep his wife company for a few extra days since his trip to the Netherlands was cancelled.

Her mother also arrived days earlier to assist her daughter as she prepares for the arrival of the Baby of Sussex.
