Soccer giant Manchester City Football Club celebrated their Premier League title win by singing Noel Gallagher‘s hit song “Wonderwall” with the singer himself joining from the stands at Brighton’s Amex Stadium on May 12.
The Oasis lead singer, who watched his favorite team win the title by beating Brighton 4-1, later gave an impromptu performance in the dressing room, singing an acappella version of the hit song with the players.
A video posted by Manchester City on Twitter shows the superstar and the players celebrating the title victory, their second in a row.
The club, bolstered by an influx of oil money, edged out a more deserving Liverpool team that does things properly.
