Paul McCartney’s Restored ‘Rupert And The Frog Song’ Premieres On YouTube

Paul McCartney has released the restored version of his iconic 1984 children’s animated film Rupert and the Frog Song on YouTube to mark the centenary of the favorite children’s character.

Rupert and the Frog Song was fully restored in 4K with a new audio mix.

“We All Stand Together,” the 1984 hit by McCartney and the Frog Chorus, was also released digitally and on limited edition picture disc vinyl via MPL/Capitol/UMe. Its restored music video was also released on YouTube.

Congratulating Rupert on his 100th birthday, McCartney said the great thing is he never looks a day older.

“Having been a fan of his since my early days in Liverpool, I know what he means to generations of young and old kids. In his character and attitudes to the world, he sums up the best of British tradition and reminds us of an innocence we would all love to cherish,” the Beatles legend said.

He added, “So, congratulations my little bear. Your fans are celebrating your 100th birthday and I for one think you deserve a telegram from the Queen.”
