'RHOBH': What is Garcelle Beauvais' Net Worth?

Garcelle Beauvais is one of the newest breakout stars of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and a co-host on the popular talk show The Real. But these steps in her career are relatively recent. The Haitian-American entertainment mogul was a working actor for several decades before being introduced to new audiences on The Real Housewives.

Garcelle Beauvais is an accomplished actor

Garcelle Beauvais’ first credited acting role was in the police drama Miami Vice in the mid-1980s where she played a server at a restaurant. A few years later, she appeared in the popular Eddie Murphy movie Coming to America (and returned to the franchise in its 2021 sequel, Coming 2 America).

Throughout the ’90s, she had guest roles in several sitcoms including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Family Matters; in 1996, she landed her first main role in The Jamie Foxx Show.

In 2020, Beauvais made Real Housewives history when she became the first Black cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Beauvais stopped by the popular daytime talk show The Real to discuss why she went on the show and what fans would get to see. “I wanted to do something different,” she admitted. “I wanted to go outside of the box. I’ve been acting successively for 20 years, and I just wanted to do something different.”

“I also feel like it’s about time,” she said, “because we are in every ZIP code, are we not?”

In addition to juggling The Real Housewives and acting projects such as Coming 2 America, Beauvais has also been busy during the pandemic as the newest co-host of The Real. Because the show is still filming remotely, Beauvais hasn’t experienced the energy of The Real‘s in-studio audience as a host; instead, she shares the screen via Zoom every morning with Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, and Jeannie Mai.

“I am beyond excited to be with you guys,” she said on her first day on the job, holding back tears.

“What I’m really happy about — now more than ever, we need our sisterhood,” she continued. “We need our sisterhood, we want to support each other, uplift each other, have amazing conversations, even if we’re going to disagree, we’re going to disagree respectfully, and I am thrilled for the opportunity.
