Ruth Langsford appeared to brush off rumours that she and Eamonn Holmes were concerned about being axed from This Morning.
Loose Women star Ruth, 60, said she wasn’t aware of plans to replace herself and husband Eamonn, also 60, amid ITV’s reported new bid to become more diverse.
In an interview with new! magazine last week, Ruth responded to the reports as she said: “There's always talk, I don't know. Not that anybody's told me.
“I think I am very good at what I do, and as long as they want me I'll be there.

“I've been doing it a very long time and it seems we've been very popular, so I presume all those things will be taken into consideration.”
But, it has now been reported she and hubby Eamonn will be replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary in a presenting shake-up of the show.
Eamonn and Ruth, who recently revealed she threatened to break the arm of a colleague who pinched her bum, are said to be “furious and upset” over the decision.
A source told Mirror Online: “Eamonn is pretty furious and everyone feels for him and Ruth, they are well liked on the team, but sometimes tough decisions have to be made.”
A spokesperson for This Morning told OK!: “We have a stellar presenting line up on This Morning in Holly & Phillip and Eamonn & Ruth. Any additions to this line up will be announced in due course.“
The couple have hosted the Friday slots, replacing main presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, since 2006.
But, it has now been claimed the pair will stand in for Holly, 39, and Phil, 58, over the summer holidays.
Alison, 45, and Dermot, 47, are said to have impressed producers as they presented This Morning together last month.
An insider said: “They have real warmth. It's time for a change and they are perfect.”
Reports the couple feared they would be axed from the show first came about in September.
A source told The Sun Online at the time: “Eamonn and Ruth are incredibly popular with viewers and loved across the board.
“No one wants to see them go. The shows execs have some very tricky decisions. Eamonn fears he is basically too ‘pale, stale and male’, and, at 60, perhaps not in line with the youth drive broadcasters are after.

“One possibility is to keep the couple on as regular holiday cover but lose their regular Friday slot.
“Nothing’s been decided yet, and much rests on this internal poll.”
Earlier this year, This Morning boss Martin Frizell was reported to be planning to hire a black presenter to increase diversity within the show.
Speaking in a Zoom meeting Martin is said to have told staff: “There is not a black presenter on any of the programmes today. We plan to change that, we [This Morning] are looking into it.”
