Stacey Solomon announces social media break after feeling ‘so strange’ from anxiety

Stacey Solomon has revealed she is taking a break from social media after an anxiety-filled week.

The 31 year old has been keeping her 4.4million Instagram followers on how she has struggled throughout week, admitting she feels "so strange."

Loose Women panellist Stacey has now decided to best thing to do for her mental health is to take some time away from social media, thanking her fans for being the "sweetest people."

Sharing a stunning image of her gorgeous green garden on Saturday night, Joe Swash's fiancée wrote to her fans: "Goodnight… I hope you're all ok. I feel so strange still.

"I'm going to put my phone in the drawer for a couple of days give you all a break…

"I hope you have a lovely Sunday and Monday. You deserve all the happiness in the world. Never forget it."

She finished: "Love you to the moon and back…," alongside a white heart emoji.


The former X Factor finalist briefly returned to the platform to share some messages she had received from her loyal army of fans.

She said: "Was about to write in my brain junk bin in my book. And then started reading your messages and decided to fill my page up with your loveliness."

Stacey assured fans: "Despite what some may lead you to believe… most people are inherently kind."

One message read: "Have a fab time with your family. Will miss you though."

A second said: "Rest up, brain dump, be kind to yourself… we will be here for you when you are ready."

A third told the star: "Get some well earned rest and hope you feel better real soon, it's horrible feeling pants and you can't work out why! Have a lovely few days."

Whilst a fourth wrote: "Noooo stacey don't leave us have a lovely couple of days hope your ok we love you."

And a final fan said: "Stace… have a chilled out few days and unwind a little… and by the way we don't need a break from you… I love seeing your daily stories love you."

Clearly emotional, Stacey wrote: "You are honestly just the sweetest people I've never met.
