Fired! Dean Ahmad was the latest casualty of Lord Sugar’s boardroom on The Apprentice. Speaking to MailOnline after his firing, Dean gave his view on the final five

Rivals: Librarian Lottie Lion, 20, hasn’t impressed Dean, as he labelled her ‘a bit of a nightmare’

Dean said he’s earned lasting friendships from his time on the show, calling last week’s fired candidate Thomas Skinner ‘a big brother’. Of the final five, Pamela, Lewis, Lottie, Scarlett Allen-Horton and Carina Lepore, Dean declared:

‘You’ve got four out of five serious business candidates left. Scarlett has always stood out for me, she’s very sharp and on the ball with things. Pamela is the silent assassin. I wouldn’t rule her out, never rule out an underdog.’

Lottie, who has had countless arguments with her colleagues on the show, came under fire from Dean, as he told MailOnline she was ‘a bit of a nightmare’.

He added that despite him and Lottie being the same age, he thinks he has far more experience and potential, explaining:

‘I’ve been in business since I was 15 so I’ve got plenty of experience and some very high profile clients so I’m sure Lord Sugar’s aware of that,’ adding of Lottie: ‘People can make their own minds up but being eloquent is one thing, having business acumen is another.’

‘I run a sports management company. Lord Sugar loves his sport!’ he pointed out, adding that he hoped to eventually go down the sports presenting route.
