Montana Brown has given birth to her first child with fiancé Mark O'Connor. The former Love Island star announced the news on Instagram with a sweet photo of the newborn.
Captioning the snap, she shared the name of her baby born, writing: "Welcome to the world Jude Isaiah O’Connor we’re so smitten with you little man 23.06.23"
The new parents no doubt put a lot of thought into their little one's name, which according to Nameberry, is a unisex name of Latin origin which means "praised".
The tot's namesakes include Saint Jude, the patron saint of lost causes, actor Jude Law, and The Beatles hit song Hey Jude.
Nameberry credits Sherlock Holmes star Jude Law with having turned the image of the name Jude "on its head", as he has erased the name's links to the traitorous Judas Iscariot and Thomas Hardy's tragic Jude the Obscure.
The tiny tot's middle name Isaiah is of Hebrew origin, and means "Salvation of the Lord", according to baby name website Nameberry.
It derives from the name Yesha’yahu, which contains 'yasha’, which means “to save,” and yah, which is a reference to the Hebrew god.
The biblical Isaiah was one of the Old Testaments' major prophets and prophesied that the Children of Israel would be exiled from their homeland, and that God would eventually bring them back.
As names both Jude and Isaiah have gained in popularity in recent years and as of 2021 Jude was is in the top 100 names for boys in the UK, coming in at number 40. Isaiah on the other hand is much more popular in America than in the UK.
And Montana isn't the only celeb to recently give their baby boy this name, with Made In Chelsea star Tiffany Watson naming her son Jude Maximus McGeehan, when she gave birth earlier this year.
After taking to Instagram to announce the birth of her son, Montana was met with messages of congratulations from her fans, and some celeb pals.
Fellow ex-Love Islander and new mum Molly-Mae Hague commented: "Oh wow congratulations mon [crying emoji] [blue heart emoji]"
And Vicky Pattison wrote: "Congratulations beautiful girl [black heart] while Tasha Ghouri added: "So happy for you [two red heart emojis]"
And it wasn't just celebs sending their congratulations, Montana's fans were also quick to comment on the post, with one writing: "He looks just like his mamma x congrats to you both @montanarosebrown1"
"Welcome to the word Jude [blue heart emoji] congratulations to you both!" added another, and a third commented: "Joining in the joyous celebration as we warmly welcome little Jude into the world! [blue heart emoji] [baby emoji]
"Congratulations to the proud parents on this precious arrival. May your journey as a family be filled with endless love, laughter, and beautiful memories.
