THE internet is filled with life hacks to help you live an easier, more organized lifestyle.
Whether you need a more efficient laundry system, an easier way to cut tomatoes, or a trick for making your bed, TikTok has got you covered.
A cleaning and DIY expert named Chantel Mila, who goes by @mama_mila_ on TikTok, revealed “three easy life hacks you’ll wish you tried earlier.”
PHONE CHARGER
If you’ve ever been in bed and struggled to reach the phone charger cord that’s thrown on the floor, Chantel’s first hack is for you.
She said to take small stick-on hooks, which you can find at any dollar tree, and paste them onto the side of your night stands.
You can then slip the charging cable right over the hook so that it’s always in reach.

BED SHEETS
There’s nothing worse than a nicely made bed whose sheets are covered in wrinkles.
No matter how tight you pull them, wrinkly sheets always make the whole bed look slightly disheveled.
Instead of going through the trouble to steam or iron, however, Chantel said you can just spray them with tap water.
She revealed how well this worked with just a few sprays.

SALT SOLUTION
And finally, her last tip was for all of us who find our dark clothing consistently loses its color after a wash cycle.
To solve this problem, Chantel said to add ½ cup of salt to your washing load.
“The salt helps lock in colors. It works so well,” she added in the comments.
