When it comes to dressing forthe record-breaking hot weather, many people may turn to their favourite summer dress to help see them through theheat.
But as stylish as they may be, figuring outwhat exactly to do with your bra situation can be a little tricky, particularly when it comes to hiding any straps.
Fortunately, one fashion influencer has taken things into her own hands and has revealed her very easy way of wearing a backless dress alongside a normal bra and all it involves is some camouflage.
Instagrammerpetitelife_incolors, also known as Natalia, took to the platform to share a video of how she conceals her bra while wearing a tie-up backless dress.
Captioning the clip “How to hide a bra strap hack,” the blogger explained that anyone with a tie up back dress should be able to conceal their bra by simply tying the additional strap into a bow.
As she grabbed the strap of her dress, she wrote: “twist ties, slide the upper tie under your bra strap and make a bow.” She then pulled the bow to hide her bra.
Since posting it to her account, the video has gone viral and has received over 31.4million viewers and amassed over 206,000 likes.
Viewers have also been quick to obsess over the hack in Natalia’s comments, with one writing “this is kinda awesome!” Meanwhile another added: “LOVE this hack!”
Others were keen to tag their friends and comment about how handy the hack would’ve been during their own wardrobe malfunctions.
After tagging their friend, one person wrote: “needed this hack Saturday x”. Another felt similarly and commented: “could done with this hack for u on sat nyt man”.
And if dresses aren’t your thing, or you’re simply looking for something a little warmer, oneTikToker recently shared their savvy fashion hack to get into jeans that are too tight.
After buying a pair of jeans that didn’t fit, Lily sought help from her grandma who had a genius idea.
“I spoke to my nana about them, and she said 'have you showered in them yet?' I was like, 'what? No, I haven't showered in my jeans. what are you talking about?',” she said.
“She was like, 'just trust me, shower in them, wear them around the house, stretch them out a little bit, and then let them air dry and don't put them in the dryer again'.”
She explained that she followed her grandma's unique advice and showered in the jeans before air drying them the next day. What’s more, she was able to slip seamlessly into the new jeans.
