I’m a 34-year-old male and sometimes think it would be good to be in a relationship but then I remind myself how difficult having a girlfriend can be.
The only time I really wish I had female company is when I’m pleasuring myself – which as I’m single, I do fairly regularly.
But I don’t mean I want sex with a woman – I like the idea of her watching me as I pleasure myself. Am I weird?

DEIDRE SAYS: There is nothing wrong with being happy as a singleton.
And some women would be happy to partake in your fantasy, but be clear from the outset about what you are looking for, or you may send confusing signals.
But I wonder if you have been hurt in the past and have convinced yourself you don’t need anyone.
If so, it would help to talk to a counsellor, so I’m sending you my support pack on Counselling.
