An Instagram model has complained her industry doesn’t get enough credit and that influencers aren’t respected enough for their work.
Jenny Mosienko, who has 1.4million followers, says she works long, hard days for her money.
Speaking to Mirror Online, she said: “Lots of people assume that being an Instagram model is a piece of cake, that we just take selfies in our bedrooms and post paid ads, but there's a lot more to it than that.
"No, I don't do catwalks or editorial shoots, but I have to carefully curate my own content, plan ahead, I work with brands to support their marketing and PR strategies, engage with my audience, attend international trips, work with fellow influencers from PINKKISS and accept that I am in full control of my career.”
Jenny has modelled on Instagram for a decade and makes her cash from raunchy photo shoots and collaborations.
Discussing what she does on a day-to-day basis, she added: “My days constantly change. I am very committed to my fitness though so I'll usually wake up, enjoy breakfast and do a workout.
"If I'm at home I'll then take some photos and create content, engage with my followers and work on any current projects.”
But, she has received hate online.
Jenny added: “People assume that because we open ourselves up to the world online we're not affected by trolling – this isn't true, we're only human.
"A lot of the time these comments are from men, they tend to leave sexist remarks on my posts and think that because I'm wearing a bikini that's justifiable."
Jenny insists that Instagram models are not obsessed with their appearance or vain.
She said: “Some people think that we're all shallow.
“The stereotype surrounding Instagram models often paints us as dumb and completely image-focused.
"As a model I of course take a pride in my appearance but I'm also a businesswoman and Instagram is a mere screenshot of my life – there's a lot more to me than my life as a model."

She continued: “People also assume that I work for less than an hour a day, that I snap a couple of photos and then I'm done – this couldn't be further from the truth.
"Being an Instagram model is a full-time job.
"Shoots are long, planning takes time, collaborations need organising – it's not something you can just breeze into, it takes lots of hard work and commitment."
Jenny claims that she loves her “unique career”.
She concluded: "I love the independence that being an Instagram model provides – I choose the photos I post, who I work with and when I work.
"It also allows me to travel the world with like-minded, talented, creative people.
"Life as an Instagram model is hard work, undoubtedly, but it pays off in terms of the incredible people that you get to meet and it allows you to earn a substantial salary.”
