Moonpig launches Tiger King fragrance and its the perfect stocking filler gift

As if the year hasn't moved quick enough already, it's almost Christmas time.

If you're looking for the perfect stocking filler gift, there's plenty of options out there and gifting website, Moonpig, has just launched the ideal and inexpensive gift to unleash your inner tiger.

To celebrate the return of the second and ever-nutty instalment of Tiger King last month, Moonpig released 'Eccentrica' and let's just say, it's a scent that wouldn’t look too out of place in Joe Exotic’s bathroom cabinet.

The 30ml Eccentrica bottle retails for £4.99, making it a roar-some stocking filler gift for the feline-lover in your life, or someone who is simply crazy about the Tiger King franchise.

Enjoy notes of heavy musk and a whiff of bitterness, all locked up with a mad mix of bergamot, sandalwood and lime, finished with a hint of regret.

Moonpig has recently added fragrances to its expanding beauty range, including premium brands such as Jimmy Choo and Dolce & Gabbana.

Customers can now make their gifts even more personal by adding perfume or aftershave to their order, with a range of single bottles and 21 gift sets to choose from – perfect for just about any occasion.

As cringe-inducing and funny as the show may be, Moonpig is also looking at the wider issues raised on the series.

There are more tigers in captivity in the USA than there are in the wild across the world.

In light of this, Moonpig has joined forces with Born Free – a leading wildlife charity that runs a programme for conservation initiatives to stop tiger poaching, put an end to the tiger trade, and ensure their survival in the wild, where they belong.

As an official partner, Moonpig will donate 100% of sales of Eccentrica to help further Born Free’s mission to support tigers living in the wild.

Polly Noel-Storr, Head of Buying at Moonpig says: "We’ve teamed up with Born Free to highlight the plight of captive tigers. Eccentrica may be our tongue-in-cheek way of raising a smile as part of our new fragrance line, but we hope to also use it to encourage improvements to animal care at the same time.”
