MORRISONS shops are open over the long weekend for picking up food and other essential items.

This weekend will see the second bank holiday weekend in May, following the early bank holiday on Friday May, 8.
It is the last of spring and we won't have another until December.
Morrisons shops are open although opening hours have already changed slightly because of the coronavirus pandemic.
For the weekend shops are open as normal on Saturday and Sunday but they will close earlier on Monday.
Opening and closing times may vary depending on which branch you are visiting so check the online store finder to see the details of your local shop.
Morrisons opening hours for the late May bank holiday weekend
Saturday, May 23
The majority of Morrisons shops will open 7am and close at 10pm.
It has a dedicated hour, running from 6am until 7am, for NHS workers to shop every Monday to Saturday.
Sunday, May 24
Morrisons shops will be open under Sunday trading hours as normal, from 10am until 4pm.
The majority of its stores open at 9am for NHS workers, and then at 9.30am for other customers.
Any other stores that normally open later than 9.30am will open one hour earlier for NHS staff.
Monday, May 25
Monday is a bank holiday but shops will open as usual.
Opening times will be 7am and shops will close at 8pm, instead of the usual closing time of 10pm.
If you don't want to visit a Morrisons shop, you might be able to order groceries online via the Amazon Prime Now app.

Morrisons is now selling a bumper meat box for the long weekend for £8, and a box of 135 pieces of fruit and veg for £22.
It has also launched four new liqueurs including raspberry ripple and strawberries and cream.
The cost of some items, including beans and baby food, have risen in the past month.
