Stacey Solomon shares £12.99 storage solution for hair straighteners and it’s genius

Stacey Solomon, who recently admitted her guilt over not having time to see her husband Joe Swash, is becoming just as much of an influencer as a TV personality in recent times, as fans rush to her to ask for product recommendations.

Fans are routinely impressed by her ingenuity and ability to spot a bargain when she sees one so it’s no surprise that her hack to store hair straighteners has gone viral.

The Loose Women panelist, 33, took to her Instagram stories to give fans a glimpse inside her wardrobe but, despite the gorgeous clothes, shared that all of her fans had been asking the same question.

“Sooo many of you asked for the hair holder,” the star wrote next to a black heart emoji. “It was £12 from Amazon.”

Stacey then included a link to the product on the site, which describes itself as a “Hair Dryer Straightener Holder With Cable” and boasts that it’s made of heat resistant metal so you needn’t worry about hanging hot tools up.

The reviews for the product are largely positive, with one customer describing it as the “best thing I’ve bought in ages” and revealed that it’s also useful for keeping fiddling wires off of the floor.

However, some buyers complained that it was “not solid” and complained that it grew loose over time and they had to keep replacing it.

It seems to have been a hit in the Solomon household, however, and Stacey seems to use it for both her hairdryer and her straighteners.

The TV personality also shared that a lot of her fans had been asking for her styling tips since seeing her setup.

“Lots of you asked how I curl/style my hair… it’s been GHDs since they came out when I was about 13,” Stacey said, adding a laughing emoji.

GHD, which is short for Good Hair Day, first launched their range of styling tools in January 2001.

The products were a huge hit and have since become a firm favourite among hairdressers, but the salon ready straighteners don’t come cheap.

Their cheapest straightener retails for £129 and the white set that Stacey has looks like the Platinum+ Hair Straightener in white, which will set fans looking to copy her back £229, though they’re currently reduced to £194 on the official website.

The hair dryer Stacey, who recently addressed baby number six speculation, uses appears to be GHD’s Helios Professional Hair Dryer in white, which was originally priced at £179.

However, savvy shoppers will note that it’s also currently on sale for £152 on the brand’s official website.
