Bordeaux forward Hwang Ui-Jo claims he has transfer offer to join West Ham despite Armando Broja arrival | The Sun

BORDEAUX striker Hwang Ui-Jo claims he has a transfer offer to join West Ham this summer.

That’s despite David Moyes reportedly closing in on a deal for Chelsea forward Armando Broja.

West Ham are desperate to add a top No9 to their squad for the new Premier League season.

The Hammers remain in talks with Sassuolo over Italy international Gianluca Scamacca.

But it is reckoned Moyes’ top target is ex-Southampton loanee Broja.

The Albanian has left Chelsea’s US training camp and returned to the UK.

And South Korean star Hwang claims he has now been approached by West Ham over a Premier League switch.

The 29-year-old, capped 47 times by his country, has scored 29 goals in three seasons at Bordeaux.

The cash-strapped side were relegated from Ligue 1 to France’s third division last month due to financial issues.

Hwang said: “I am waiting, nothing is decided yet.

“There will be more details to give you depending on the financial situation of the team.
