Haydock racing tips: Betfair Sprint Cup trends – we help you find the winner of the Group 1 contest live on ITV

GIVE a warm welcome to HELLO YOUMZAIN in the Betfair Sprint Cup.

Finishing in the first three last time out has been an important pointer and that’s bad news for fancied runners Golden Horde and Art Power along with outsider Brando.

It’s a major plus to have run in a Group 1 race last time out.

Coming up short on that score are Summerghand, Tabdeed and Dream Of Dreams for all that he was impressive in scoring at Newbury — he’s gotta go!

That leaves us with two still standing — 2019 hero Hello Youmzain and Lope Y Fernandez.

The latter has the good record of three-year-olds in his favour but this is one race that hasn’t been kind to his trainer Aidan O’Brien. The great man has finished no closer than third from his seven runners.

So HELLO YOUMZAIN can defend his crown. He ran well in the Prix Maurice De Gheest last time which has produced winners of this in the past decade and we know the trip and track are ideal.
