The Jets will be without wide receivers coach Shawn Jefferson for Sunday’s game against the Browns after Jefferson was deemed a high risk after a close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

Jefferson is in his second season as the team’s receivers coach and assistant head coach. The Jets will also not have defensive assistant Blake Williams at the game. Williams has not coached since his father, Gregg, was fired as defensive coordinator earlier this month. The Jets retained Blake Williams but altered his duties to off-field projects.

The Jets’ final injury report lists cornerback Javelin Guidry as doubtful with a knee injury. Guidry has started the past two games as the slot corner. The undrafted rookie from Utah has made some key tackles in recent weeks and forced a fumble against the Raiders. The Jets could move Arthur Maulet back to slot corner. Maulet started at safety last week.

The only other player with an injury designation was wide receiver Jeff Smith, who is questionable with a shoulder injury.
