Messi makes kids’ day with impromptu kickabout on the beach while on holiday in Antigua – The Sun

LIONEL MESSI has made sure some lucky kids had a holiday of a lifetime – by taking part in an impromptu kick-about on the beach during his break in Antigua.

The Argentina star, 32, has been getting over his Copa America heartbreak while away with childhood sweetheart Antonella Roccuzzo.

Messi and Co were knocked out at the hands of Brazil in the semi-final, as the superstar's quest for a long-awaited international trophy rages on.

The Barcelona ace was even sent-off in the 37th-minute of the third-place play-off win over Chile in another forgettable campaign, where he slammed "corrupt" referees.

Messi is still waiting to find out whether his original three-match ban for the red card could be extended for his rant.

Some reports claim he could even be suspended from international football for up to two years.

But Messi showed he still has love for the game – and not a care in the world – as he took the time to enjoy a bit of football with some kids during his Caribbean break.

On Thursday, he shared a snap from his holiday, clutching a beer on the sun-kissed, sandy beach – surrounding by palm trees.

Earlier in the week, the Argentine star enjoyed some family time as he drove along the beach with his wife and three kids in a Jeep.

Messi is staying in a luxurious villa at Jumby Bay in Antigua – costing a staggering £5,000 per NIGHT.

And he and Roccuzzo have been keeping fans up to date with their stay at the exclusive resort.

Roccuzzo shared a picture of her smiling husband on Instagram with the caption: "relax."

Messi also posted a snap of himself and his other-half posing in front of their idyllic infinity pool later that day.
