RYAN GARCIA has called out Isaac Cruz for his first fight since returning from a hand injury.
The American had to have surgery in October and pulled out of facing JoJo Diaz, 29, who instead went on to lose to Devin Haney, 23.
But the lightweight is eyeing a comeback fight in early 2022 and wants Cruz, who was narrowly beaten by Gervonta Davis in Decemeber, to be his opponent.
Garcia, 23, tweeted: "Putting my head down and getting the Job done in 2022, I’m ready to push forward.
"Silence the noise and be who I am. 25-0 that’s the goal. First step get Isaac Cruz to fight and to stop wasting time.
"Coming from a guy that says he’ll fight me in my patio he sure takes long."
Cruz, 23, staked his claim as a contender when he took Davis, 27, the distance and only narrowly lost.
But he's unconvinced Garcia will fight him, telling DAZN: "Ryan hasn't been a fighter that's caused any big danger in the division.
