Watch manager get sent off for FAKING being hit by opponent as fans joke 'even his own players were like FFS' | The Sun

A MANAGER in Romania was sent off after pretending he was hit by an opposing player.

Gloria Buzau gaffer Adrian Mihalcea was sent to the changing room early as his side beat Oțelul Galați 1-0.

The incident happened in stoppage time at the end of the second half with Buzau hanging on for a vital three points in the Romanian second division.

Mihalcea rushed over to collect a ball that was kicked out of play and he reached it just before Otelul captain Ionuț Neagu.

And as Neagu tried to reach the ball Mihalcea threw himself to the ground in dramatic fashion clutching his face.

He proceeded to roll around on the floor, much to the anger of fans.

Neagu protested his innocence and the referee was not fooled as he brandished Mihalcea the red card.

His own players appeared to have second hand embarrassment but the Bucau boss did at least succeed in wasting time to help his side to a win.

Viewers were shocked by his behaviour however with one writing: "This is so embarrassing. Ruins the sport."

Another added: "Even his own players were like FFS.
