A Place In The Sun's Jasmine Harman answers pregnancy speculation after fans spotted her weight gain

A PLACE In The Sun star Jasmine Harman has quashed rumours that she is pregnant with her third child.

Jasmine, 45, has taken to social media after being asked if she is expecting another baby.

The telly star posed for a picture while holding her tummy but told her followers that she is not set to become a mum again.

Jasmine admitted that she has instead put on weight after her diet "went awry during lockdown".

Telling fans how she felt to be asked if she is pregnant, Jasmine admitted: "My first reaction was to be insulted and upset."

She continued: "I’m not pregnant – I’ve put on weight. TBH I’ve spent my adult life putting on weight and losing it again. It’s boring after a while.

"The last time I lost weight, I thought I’d cracked it for good, but alas, it all went awry during lockdown."

We should all love our bodies no matter what shape or size."

The Channel 4 star, who has two children – Joy and Albion – with husband Jon, went on to admit that she is "yet to find peace" with her shape.

"We should all be able to love our bodies no matter their shape or size," Jasmine said.

"I admit, I find this very difficult and I’m not there yet. I applaud those people who love and accept themselves as they are."

The mum-of-two has now decided to switch up her lifestyle and hopes to finally accept herself for who she is.

She asked her Instagram followers: "How could one casual comment from a stranger provoke so many different feelings?

"I’m going to take my time, adapt my lifestyle and hope I can finally make peace with myself."

Jasmine has appeared on A Place In The Sun since 2004. She met cameraman Jon while working on the show and they tied the knot in 2009.

Last year, Jasmine told The Mirror that lockdown had brought them together more as a family, as the pandemic meant work ground to a halt.

She said: "Sometimes Jon and I don't see each other for a month at a time because I'll be away for a week and then I get back and he's gone. [Over lockdown] it has been quite nice to be all together as a family.

"I think the kids have really, really enjoyed having their parents around. Neither of us have worked because our industry has just shut down and there's not much filming-wise. You can't do A Place In The Sun from home!"
