Blue reveal wild night out with A-list superstar – but they've now QUIT partying

THEY are one of the most successful British boybands of all time.

So it's no wonder that Blue have had some amazing nights out throughout their career.

But even by showbiz standards Duncan James, Anthony Costa, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe's partying antics are impressive.

Chatting exclusively to The Sun, they explained how they once ended up jumping up and down on a bed in the middle of a nightclub with none other than Britney Spears.

The pop icon had been in the capital to celebrate the release of her 2002 film Crossroads.

Recalling the crazy evening as they prepare to return to the charts with new single Haven't Found You Yet, Duncan, 44, said: "It was at the In and Out Club – she had just done the premiere Crossroads in London.

"The club was on Piccadilly – there was a VIP room and then there was a VVIP room.

"We got asked to go into the VVIP room. Inside there was massive King size bed in the middle of the floor.

"We were asked if we wanted to meet her. I was a huge fan. The next minute she is like 'shall we get on the bed?'.

"We are all on the bed jumping up and down like teenagers.

"Honestly, it was the best time of my life. I wish I could go back and jump on a bed with Britney now."

However, as they look ahead to their winter UK tour which will see Blue play arenas up and down the UK including The O2, Anthony, 40, admits the band are now too old to be burning the candle at both ends.

The star explained: "You get to a point where you get older and wiser.

"We don't want to get to a point where you are hungover and you have to perform that night.

"People have paid their hard earned money to see us. We don't want to use the tour as a time to go out partying."

Clearly not ready to completely call time on shots until the early hours, Duncan added: "At the end of the tour we will have a big party.

"But especially after Covid not a lot of people have spare money so we want to give the best show we can for them."
