Coronation Street exit fears as beloved resident makes heartbreaking decision

Coronation Street: Kelly argues with Faye in tense moment

This year, fans of the ITV soap watched as Faye was left stunned after discovering ex Jackson and her estranged daughter Miley (Frankie-Jae Simmonds) had moved back to the UK.

Deciding to get back involved in their lives, it’s clear that old feelings started to blossom as she reconnected with Jackson, despite recently agreeing to marry Craig.

However, in scenes set to air next week, it looks as though Faye finally makes her mind up on who she wants to be with.

As Craig tries his best to assure Faye he’d never report her to the police, he later suggests once they get married they buy a flat together.

When Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) admits he’s relieved she’s chosen Craig, Faye starts to feel extremely trapped.

With Jackson and Miley soon leaving to move to Slough, they invite Faye to go on one last family outing before they go, however, it’s too much for her and she can’t face it.

Instead, she speaks to Gary Windass (Mikey North) whom she breaks down to and confesses she wants to be with Jackson.

Although she admits it feels as though she can’t leave Craig as he knows something which could put her behind bars again.

Before Jackson and Miley leave, they come over to take some family photos with Faye, Craig, Tim and Sally.

As Miley explains she’s going to use the photos to create an album to remember them all, Faye struggles to keep it together.

However, her emotions don’t go unnoticed by Craig who can see how deeply upset she is about losing her daughter.

Later on, Craig tells Faye if she truly wants to be with them both to be a family, she should go to Slough.

As her case is already packed, Faye approaches the car and leaves Weatherfield as Craig watches the car pull away, completely heartbroken.

Calling at the factory with some bits that Faye left behind, Sally feels sorry for Craig and asks him to join them for dinner that evening.

As Sally can see both Craig and Tim down over Faye’s exit, she suggests they both find a common hobby to distract them.

Although with Craig left utterly shattered, could this send him into a downward spiral?

Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays on ITV from 8pm.
