Coronation Street's Tina O'Brien parties with her on-screen mum Helen Worth at bingo night out | The Sun

CORONATION Street favourite Tina O'Brien was the life and soul of the party as she enjoyed a wild night with her on-screen mum.

The actress, 39, who plays Sarah-Lou Platt in the ITV soap, wore a black top and denim mini-skirt as she headed for a lively night at the bingo.

Mum of two Tina was seen having the time of her life as she took a break from her dabber for a boogie.

She threw her hands in the hair as she danced, yet all was not as it seemed as Helen made her arrival.

The Coronation Street stalwart burst through the doors at Bongos Bingo – in the form of a cardboard cut-out.

While the real Helen – who scooped an MBE in the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Honours – was likely chilling out at home, her cardboard silhouette was being paraded around on-stage.

Bongos posted the hilarious video to its Instagram account with the caption: "When you go for a quiet night at the bingo and end up playing for your (on-screen) mum x @tinaob83 👀"

One fan gushed: "I need a life size cut out of Gail!"

A second then giggled: "It’s Gail!! 😂"

Tina then re-posted the party scenes to her own page.

Tina first appeared on Corrie aged 16, when she took over the role from Lynsay King back in 1999.

Tina was awarded the Best Newcomer gong at the National Television Awards shortly after joining the soap, and her character's teen pregnancy with daughter Bethany also saw her win the Best Storyline accolade at the British Soap Awards.

She first quit the soap in 2007 but returned to the cobbles in early 2015.

Fans were recently stunned after learning of Tina's real age during a segment on This Morning.

Meanwhile, Helen joined the soap as much-loved character Gail back in 1974, and has had a number of memorable storylines ever since.

Long-term fans will no doubt remember her for her tram crash, as well as when she nearly died in the canal alongside Richard Hillman.
