Corey Brent’s (Maximus Evans) exit has been confirmed as tonight, he pleaded guilty to murdering Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) in Coronation Street.
Last week, the walls started closing in on Corey as the police examined his bloodied clothes from the night of Seb and Nina’s (Mollie Gallagher) attack.
On Friday (November 5), Corey’s dad, Stefan (Paul Opacic) put a plan into place that would’ve seen them flee the country and go on the run.
However, as Abi (Sally Carman) and Gary (Mikey North) discovered what Corey and Stefan were up to, they worked together, hijacking Eli’s dad’s van and driving Corey and his father to the station.
Corey was arrested and tonight, Imran (Charlie De Melo) had some news about his fate.
Outside the café, Imran told Adam (Sam Robertson), Nina and Abi that Corey had admitted to murdering Seb.
Abi and Nina were elated, but it wasn’t all good news as Imran informed them that due to Corey’s age, he could get a minimum sentence of 14 years.
As Corey pleaded guilty, Abi and Nina won’t have another trial to attend to so – it’s finally over.
Corey is behind bars and now, Nina and Abi can begin to move forward.
