Corrie fans gobsmacked as Michael discovers he’s not Tianna’s dad in huge twist

Coronation Street fans were left aghast as it was revealed on Wednesday's episode that Michael Bailey isn't baby Tianna's father.

Michael was arrested in the first instalment of the soap as Grace Vickers accused him of kidnapping baby Tianna.

During his police interview, it was revealed to him that Tianna isn't his baby, and Grace isn't the mother.

The police officer told him that Grace has been working as Tianna's nanny, and has been pretending the entire time.

Viewers couldn't believe the huge plot twist, and went into meltdown on Twitter.

One said: "I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING".

While another wrote: "Omg! Talk about a plot twist".

"What a twist! I'm still in shock", penned a third.

A fourth exclaimed: "Yooo!! I'm actually so shocked! What a great twist! Literally feel so sorry for Michael!"

The police officer told a shocked and tearful Michael that the baby's real parents had confirmed Grace was her nanny.

She said she had been using her time with Tianna to deceive Michael and his entire family.

Michael was completely speechless to hear the shocking news and his eyes filled with tears.

He told the officer repeatedly that he wanted to leave in the heartbreaking scenes.

Michael walked out into the police station to see Tianna is her real mother's arms as the family left. Her dad turned to him and told him he was sorry.

Back at their house, Michael sat with his dad Ed and his brother James, the three of them unable to believe the turn of events.
