Eamonn Holmes reveals he's in wife Ruth Langsford's 'bad books' after 'innocent question' sparked row

EAMONN Holmes has revealed he's in wife Ruth Langsford's 'bad books' after an 'innocent question' sparked a row.

All hell broke loose when the Irish TV presenter asked where the egg-cups were, Eamonn explained.

Eamonn , 62, told fans of his marriage drama on Twitter.

He said he was "completely in the bad books" with Ruth 61, after he asked her an "innocent question" about where a vital piece of kitchen equipment was kept.

He said: "Little could I have imagined that a simple question asked out loud like 'Where do we keep the eggcups?' would have got the day off to such a fractious start."

He added: "Sorry I asked."
