EastEnders fans spot hilarious Kim Fox blunder as they question her influencer career

Soap fans have been left in bits after spotting a hilarious blunder during last night's instalment of EastEnders spin-off The Kimfluencer.

The much-loved online series – which premiers on EastEnders YouTube and Facebook pages each week – follows the journey of one of Albert Square's favourite faces Kim Fox (played by Tameka Empson) as she attempts to become a fully-fledged social media influencer.

But fans of Walford rib-tickler Kim noticed a rookie mistake the character made in her attempt to become Internet famous.

Filming one of her peculiar vlogs, the star was spotted holding the camera at the wrong angle, different from the usual portrait setting of many online influencers.

"I won’t hear a bad word about my favourite Kim Fox, but they keep making out she’s an influencer and yet she’s always filming in landscape… exactly what platforms is she kimfluencing on?? #EastEnders," one fan took to Twitter to express his amusement.

"She’s in my Top 5 current EastEnders so she gets a pass regardless," another added.

A third viewer wrote: "Ha ha ha I thought exactly this when I watched tonight's episode!"

"I commented exactly the same thing tonight [laughing emojis]" another viewer teased.

Another joked: "And who uses a selfie stick these days??"

Last night's episode also left viewers in tears for another reason, following a moving scene between Kim and Lola Pearce (played by Danielle Harold).

What was supposed to be her big day – the day she and partner Jay Brown were set to tie the knot – Lola broke down in tears before Kim.

Unsure whether she'd ever be able to make it down the aisle to marry Jay, Lola confessed that she'd been overly concerned over their wedding day and had began ignoring her cancer symptoms.

Lola asked him if she believed there was any point in getting married if she was doomed to die of terminal cancer in coming months anyway.

Kim then told Lola that she should go ahead with the wedding and that her lovable boyfriend Jay would have no regrets about his decision because of the overwhelming amount of love her has for her.

Lola asked, "What's going to happen when I die?", to which Kim responded, "Then you would've had the gift of loving and appreciating every second with Jay."

Kim also added that, despite her husband Vincent Hubbard having been murdered, if she'd have known the circumstances that surrounded his death beforehand, she still would have gone ahead with her marriage to him.

The pair then hugged it out, leaving fans emotional but ready for the next episode.

EastEnders continues on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
