EastEnders’ Patsy Palmer cried in Costco over coronavirus panic buying

EastEnders star Patsy Palmer has revealed she cried in the middle of Costco, after becoming overwhelmed by coronavirus fears.

The 47-year-old – who took part in Great Stand Up To Cancer Bake Off – explained she broke down while panic-buying.

In a message shared on her Instagram page, the Bianca Jackson actress admitted she felt ‘bad’ about stockpiling.

Alongside a snap of a stunning sunrise in Malibu, she said: ’Yesterday I became very overwhelmed whilst having dinner. I didn’t say anything because my little boy was sitting there and like any of us we want to keep happy so that the kids do not become scared at this time.

‘It past but then I thought how that moment can get us from nowhere. I went out panic buying, then I felt bad so I donated to @feedingamerica for the foodbanks so that it helps everyone eat.

‘I cried in Costco as I thought of the people that are pressured to buy food & essentials Incase of a lockdown, but what if they don’t have money and are completely overwhelmed with fear that can have a knock on effect mentally for them and their children.’

Good morning ? I feel a need to believe that this will be something we can look back on through different eyes . I mean different eyes completely as a planet . I feel the planet taking a deep breath . I hear China has seen the sky ! For the first time in years . Will they address their pollution problem . Will the rich get richer ? Yes probably , but will they have to face some truths whilst staying at home for so long ? Maybe they won’t won’t to work so hard , maybe they will want to spend more time with their loved ones ? Will the working class people suffer ? Yes of course .Will people build stronger communities and be less afraid after it’s all over . Will more people work together with less judgement. Yesterday I became very overwhelmed whilst having dinner . I didn’t say anything because my little boy was sitting there and like any of us we want to keep happy so that the kids do not become scared at this time . It past but then I thought how that moment can get us from nowhere . I went out panic buying , then I felt bad so I donated to @feedingamerica for the foodbanks so that it helps everyone eat . Today I choose hope , we have nothing to loose at this time only our minds !!!! There is always a different way to think . I’m trying to adopt this , as you know even before the virus as it definitely helps and in a global level follow @bobbykleinofficial to meditate. Keep happy!!! Chris Martin has been taking requests a is urging friends to do the same . You see I’m choosing these things to look at today . I love my life and we are now all in this together . One planet 🌎

Patsy has returned to our screens thanks to her stint on Channel 4’s Great British Bake Off celebrity special – alongside Scarlett Moffatt, James Buckley and Richard Dreyfuss.

And it has been claimed we could be seeing a lot more of the soap legend as she’s reportedly planning to return to EastEnders.

According to an insider, she will be reprising her role as Bianca, in a bid to help daughter Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) – who is currently in prison after confessing to killing Leo King.

The source teased that Patsy will start filming her scenes very soon.

‘Bianca is a legendary character and the writers are always delighted to be able to invite Patsy back to play her,’ they claimed to the Sun.

‘Whitney’s admission in Friday’s episode will lead to some tough times for her, so her adoptive mum comes back to help her out.

‘Although it remains to be seen how helpful Bianca back will be for her.’

Can Bianca help her get justice? We hope so!
