JESSICA Plummer has already bagged her next acting role after her character Chantelle Atkins was killed off of EastEnders.

Jessica, 28, is currently filming scenes for a new movie called Auditions, and also stars another former EastEnders cast member.

In behind-the-scenes images posted on Instagram by Inside Trak, Jessica can be seen posing for a picture alongside Gary Beadle, who played bad boy Paul Trueman on the BBC soap.

Inside Trak first teased Jessica's involvement in the film by sharing an obscured photo of her on set and asking their followers: "Can you identify the actor, in this beautiful photograph?"

On Tuesday they revealed it was the mum-of-one and shared a snap of Jessica wearing a blue off-the-shoulder top and wrote alongside it: "Well done to those who guessed…the mystery actor in the mood lighting photographs is non other, than the incredible Jessica Plummer!"

Another picture showed the actress looking a bit more serious as she did her bit in front of the camera.

A post shared on Wednesday saw Jessica shooting scenes outside on a street in London.

Inside Trak also uploaded a video of a montage of clips as Jessica and the cast filmed on a residential street.

It's unsure which role Jessica is playing in Auditions, but hopefully it's a nicer than her EastEnders one.

Her character Chantelle was killed off earlier this month after being abused by her husband, Gray Atkins.

Last week, Jessica admitted she was "in absolute bits" after her character was murdered.

The actress – who played hairdresser Chantelle for 20 months – broke her silence after using the weekend to gather her thoughts about her dramatic exit.

Posting on Instagram, she said: "Now that the dust has slightly settled, I’d just like to say..

"On a personal note, I am in absolute bits to be leaving the show. I miss even this bits I thought I hated (that dodgy outside toilet near the police station with 20 million spiders).

"All of it has been a dream come true. Without getting speechy, I owe SO many people my thanks for believing in me on my journey.

"Julia Crampsie, my agent Jonathan, Liza Mellody, Carolyn Weinstein, Jon Sen, Kate Oates .. and SO many more, including our viewers."

She continued: "I came from a girl band, wanting nothing more than to prove myself as the actor I trained to be.

"I was trusted with such an important story, on one of the most iconic soaps in history. Thank you!! It has been an unbelievable 20 months."

She added: "Finally I can watch EastEnders again as a viewer, without cringing whenever I hear my voice."
