I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! fans best prepare themselves for what lies ahead as the first trial for the new series will have the famous faces dangling from a terrifying drop.
The popular ITV show will return to screens on Sunday night and filming for the first task has already commenced.
Before the celebs head into the dreary Gwrych Castle in Wales, they will take part in a frightening challenge at Quarry leap.
As the men and the women go head to head in a battle of the sexes, it appears as though the men lose the challenge and must face the awesomely high drop which will see them dangling in the air.
As the filming continued presenters Ant and Dec were spotted looking stunned as the celebrity contestants dropped to their depths.
In previous series, celebs were faced with the grueling challenge of walking a horrendously high plank from a building before they made their way into the famous Australian jungle.
While other celebs were thrown out of helicopters to see if they could brace the terrifying heights.
Last year, some of the famous faces had to make their way down from a cliff, leaving the celebs who were fearful of heights petrified.
The news comes as Louise Minchin, Naughty Boy, Danny Miller And Snoochie Shy looked ready for action as they arrived at Gwrych Castle to start filming the new series on Thursday.
All four celebs looked terrified for the challenges that lay ahead of them as they headed to the grounds in Abergele, Wales, with the news presenter Louise, 53, at the helm while the others were hot on her heels.
Ahead of their gruesome tasks, the celebs pulled up to the set in a slew of swanky cars.
This year series is expected to be a tough one and it will also be the longest series yet as the celebs will be in the castle for a three-week duration.
Speaking to MailOnline, I'm A Celeb creative director said: "We needed to make this year tougher. We need to keep on pushing the celebrities.
"Last year we were quite anxious because we didn't know what we were going to face, we didn't know how cold it was going to be or if the celebrities would be able to stick it out."
I'm A Celebrity returns to ITV and ITV Hub on Sunday night at 9pm
