Hollyoaks tease Sid Sumner twist as Billy Price says ‘I’m not going anywhere’

Hollyoaks have teased a dramatic twist is on the horizon following the shock death of Sid Sumner.

Fans of the Channel 4 soap were left heartbroken earlier this week as the young lad died in the arms of Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson).

Sid was stabbed by drug lord Victor Brothers (Benjamin O'Mahony) in a horrifying knife attack.

Ste was seen informing the residents of Hollyoaks village about Sid's tragic passing but it appears that this is not the end for the popular charatcer.

A video shared on the Hollyoaks Instagram page celebrating Sid's and remember Billy's best bits was interrupted by the 20-year-old actor himself.

In the two minute clip, Billy reveals: "I'm not going anywhere. What gave you that impression?

"You can't get rid of me that easily. I'll tell you this but you've got to keep it between us. It's not over.

"It feels good to get that off my chest. From the source that's not the last you'll see of Sydney Sumner."

Clips from Sid's time in Hollyoaks so far continues to play before Billy teases more about his upcoming storyline.

He added: "I can't really say anything else so you'll have to watch and find out what happens.

"But thank you for all your support and I'll be seeing you soon, right? Maybe? I guess?"

The video has sent fan into meltdown, with some coming up with theories about how Sid could still be alive.

One fan penned: "HES NOT DEAD???? PLEASE"

A second person posted: "Is he alive?"

While a third said: "At this point if you don't think that Sids actually still alive and in witness protection I don't know what to tell you."

Another added: "Please tell me I'm right and my boy Sid is in witness protection. This is all red herrings. Hollyoaks, you're messing with my brain and emotions."

Chatting to Daily Star about Sid's dramatic exit, actor Billy explained: "I’ve had to keep it a secret. I couldn’t post any stuff online.
