Strictly Come Dancing fans saw Jacqui Smith become the first casualty of the ballroom last weekend after being eliminated with her partner Anton Du Beke. At the other end of proceedings are the two youngest contestants Maisie Smith and HRVY, who have made a storming start in the competition. With the pair being hotly tipped as two of the favourites to win, judge Motsi Mabuse has now warned the pair they will have to keep up their “stamina” in order to make it far in the series.
HRVY and Maisie found themselves joint top of the leaderboard after two dazzling performances from the first weeks of the contest.
The pair remain odds on to take the title and are hoping to impress with their routines later tonight.
And with fans already starting to speculate who might go on to win the coveted Glitterball Trophy, it seems increasingly likely they could make it all the way to the final.
Tonight, viewers will get a double dose of Motsi and fellow judge Craig Revel Horwood on their TV screens.
The pair will be seen appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show together to discuss the latest series which everyone is talking about.
And Motsi will explain what she thinks the stars need to do in order to be a success in the competition.
Motsi says: “I think you have to also think about stamina and how long the show goes – Maisie and HRVY they’re quite talented dancers.
“And from the very first few shows, I was like, ‘Wow this is going to be a very high level’.
She goes on to tease: “If they keep it up I see them in the final. But you never know.”
Maisie and HRVY are both at 9/4 odds to go all the way – with Bill Bailey just behind at 3/1.
Jessica O’Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “Maisie and HRVY deserve to be at the top of the betting, but Bill has taken to dancing like a duck to water, and punters simply can’t get enough of him and are piling into his odds of winning.”
But who will get a taste of Strictly glory later this year and see themselves in contention for the title?

Elsewhere, Craig and Motsi address the phenomenon of “comedy acts” on the programme, where the former explains why he is less keen.
He clarifies: “Only because they’re a waste of time… we’re trying to wave a dance flag and trying to protect our industry. Then someone comes along and the audience laugh and scream at them and then vote them through. It’s a story of two halves.
“It’s an entertainment show and we have half the vote. But I love Bill Bailey. He’s amazing,” Craig adds.
It comes after Craig had previously made less complimentary comments about the comedian prior to the beginning of the show.
“I think Bill Bailey is going to suffer, but he’ll be brilliant when it comes to backchat with the judges,” he told Digital Spy last month.
However, Craig appears happy to backtrack, saying: “I was dissing him before, I’d never seen him dance.
“I thought there’s no way, he’ll be useless… but actually he’s put his heart and soul into it and I totally and utterly respect that.”
But who will end up becoming the second couple to go home in tomorrow night’s results show and wave goodbye to the Strictly dream?
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight at 7:25pm on BBC One and The Jonathan Ross Show airs tonight at 10:30pm on ITV.
