I was on Love Island and here’s why bosses need to STOP showing sex scenes | The Sun

A FORMER Love Island star has hit out at ITV bosses – asking them to STOP showing intimate sex scenes between the couples.

Georgia Steel, who rose to fame on the ITV2 dating show back in 2018, said she felt that there should be fewer X-rated scenes in order to protect the privacy of the pairs in the villa.

Georgia, 24, celebrated that she had noticed there were less sex scenes aired on Love Island this year than in previous years.

She told the Daily Star how she felt show bosses should do their best to allow "intimate" moments to remain between the couples.

"Maybe call me old school here but I do… I feel like intimacy is something that is private and special and is something between two people," Georgia explained.

"That is a reason, that's why I never got intimate on the show which was due to the fact that I knew thousands and millions of people would be watching it.

"For me, intimacy is something that is between two people and should be kept that way in my opinion."

She went on to detail how she enjoyed seeing "certain moments", such as the Islanders "cuddling" each other in bed.

"They have to make it acceptable for all age groups, and I think it's good how the producers have steered the show," Georgia concluded of the more PG scenes between contestants.

It comes after Georgia opened up about her own experience on the ITV2 dating show, where she was partnered up with Josh Denzel.

She revealed that producers slyly gave it away that Josh had cheated on her in Casa Amor, before he returned with Kaz Crossley.

Unbeknownst to Georgia, Josh spent his entire time in Casa Amor sharing a bed and endless snogs with Kaz Crossley.

Georgia claims she twigged he'd been unfaithful when she was made to wait until last for Caroline Flack to announce his return.

"I do feel like I had a few doubts in my mind when I was stood there," she admitted. "I was feeling something funny was going on.

"Jack had just come back for Dani, so I thought, Josh isn't going to come back to me because that's going to be too good to be true and there'll be no drama."

When she saw Josh arrive with Kaz, she kept her composure but admitted it was a "shock" despite preparing for the worst.
