The Loose Women panel were very keen to speak to panellist Stacey’s sister Jemma to get more details about her newborn son and find out if a name for the tot has been decided.
Today on the ITV show, the panel had expected to throw a baby shower for Stacey but in a surprise turn of events, she gave birth yesterday.
Speaking about the birth, Jemma revealed: “[Stacey] is so good. She did amazing. It was such a lovely birth.
“I was so so privileged to be a part of it, it was amazing. It was a [good labour] she did amazing, I feel like it flew out of her.

“She was saying it was hours but I got into work about 8 and he was born at 10:01, so I thought it was pretty quick.”
Jemma continued: “There was tears of joy. Joe was so good. How can I say…He didn’t know what to do.
“He was like, ‘Am I doing alright, am I doing ok?’ I was like, ‘You are doing amazing.’
“It was so beautiful, I loved it. I would love to do again.”
Teasing when the panels and fans of Stacey would find out the name of her son, Jemma explained: “I don’t know the name.
“I don’t think they have picked one. I don’t think it will be long because we can’t call it ‘baby’ for too long.
“But I would love to know too, so Stacey can you hurry up!”
Jemma went on to reveal Stacey’s other two sons arrived soon after the birth to meet their sibling.
“Zach and Leighton were so cute, they came straight down to the hospital and they got to meet the baby straight away so that was really nice,” she recalled.
“They were so excited. I think Zach was a bit scared to hold him because he is so tiny.”
A short clip was then shown of Stacey’s friends sharing well wishes which was due to be shown during her baby shower.
Suggesting a name, Piers Morgan joked: “Have a wonderful time, and remember, if you are looking for a name, whether it’s a boy, girl or gender fluid, whatever you like, Piers works for everything.”
Holly Willoughby added: “Congratulations, enjoy this time. I know what is going to happen, you are going to leave, suddenly give birth and have no time whatsoever to yourself.”
“Yeah, lots and lots of love and we will miss you around the building as well,” Phillip Schofield continued.
Joe shared the news Stacey had given birth on her Instagram account, saying the tot had arrived “a lot earlier than planned”.
He added: “Mummy and baby are well and resting.”
