Kourtney Kardashian's ex Scott Disick 'fears he will start drinking again' when KUWTK ends one year after rehab trip

KOURTNEY Kardashian's ex Scott Disick has told former sister-in-law Kim his "fears that he will start drinking again" when KUWTK ends.

Mom-of-four Kim, 40, told Keeping Up With The Kardashian viewers about Scott's worries the family would be "gone" when the cameras cut off.

Relaxing with older sister Kourtney, 42, who was previously married to Scott, 36, the pair discussed the star's future after the show.

"I feel like he feels like maybe as a family we're going to be gone if we're not scheduled to all meet up," Kim kicked off the conversation.

"Think about all the times he's had big change, it hasn't been positive for him. So maybe he's scared that he feels like, 'what if I have nothing to do and I get so restless and that was giving me something to do?'

"And 'what if start drinking?' or 'what if I start this or that?' You know, like I can only imagine."

Kourtney, who shares sons Mason, 11, and Reign, six, as well as daughter Penelope, eight, with Scott, spoke to the cameras one on one about the issue.

"I know that we are Scott's only family," she explained, referencing how the reality star's parents sadly died within two months of each other in 2013.

"He feels insecure about not being able to spend time with the whole family now that the show is ending," Kourtney continued in the confessional.

She went on to describe her ex-husband as "nostalgic" and "sad" as she looked pensively off into the distance and cleared her throat.

"I think he wants to make sure that we're all going to see each other when we're not filming, and I want to make sure that he knows we will always be in each other's lives."

Scott's drinking fears come after he was taken to rehab for treatment last year after "spiraling out of control and wanting to get help".

A source told People that girlfriend Sofia Richie and former wife Kourtney encouraged him to get help to "be the best dad possible".

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star checked himself into a rehab facility in Colorado, but his attorney Marty Singer denied it was for cocaine or alcohol abuse.

A source told The Sun: "He voluntarily checked himself in, because he knew he needed help. He will get the help he needs, and stay as long as he needs to."

It was reported he had been drinking heavily and using cocaine while under quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic.

A source told The Daily Mail: "He mentioned trouble with his ex, and said he's also having trouble with his children and he's been taking cocaine and drinking a lot."

Scott's alleged enrollment in the rehab facility was a surprise to many friends, as a separate insider told The Sun: "He was doing really well just a few weeks ago, so everyone is shocked. Everyone thought he had changed."

In October 2013, his mother Bonnie Disick tragically passed away after a long-term illness, and just three months later, Scott's dad Jeffery died, with the cause of death not publicly revealed.

On a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, fans saw a rare glimpse at the real estate mogul's emotional side when he teared up while talking about his late parents.

"Losing my parents is not an easy subject for me to talk about, It puts me in a very vulnerable place, to remember them and think about them," he said during a confessional on the show.

Scott has openly talked about his struggles with drugs and alcohol in the past, including two prior rehab stays.

In a January 2016 episode of the reality series, the Flip It Like Disick star checked into a 30-day rehab program.

His October 2015 month-long stay was at luxury rehab center Cliffside in Malibu, California.

The treatment came after his final split with Kourtney – which was allegedly caused by his hard-partying ways.

Scott started dating 21-year-old Sofia Richie in September 2017, and was spotted with the model in Malibu just last week.
