Stacey Solomon's sister reveals 'secret wedding' mix-up after postponing marriage to Joe Swash

STACEY Solomon's sister has revealed her friends were convinced they were invited to her "secret wedding".

When Jemma Solomon sent out the luxurious invitations for her pink-themed baby shower, party-goers were convinced they were coming to watch Stacey wed her fiance Joe Swash.

"So many people messaged me like: 'Is this a secret wedding?'" Jemma told OK! Magazine.

"And I was like: 'No! Does it not look like a baby shower?'"

The couple were due to tie the knot on the last weekend of July, but postponed because they want their unborn baby to be there.

Jemma, 33, organised the party for her little sister and decorated Pickle Cottage with pink blossom, pink balloons and a tepee to anticipate the arrival of their baby girl.

Stacey’s Loose Women colleagues Nadia Sawalha, Jane Moore and Judi Love were in attendance along with her best friend cleaning influencer Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchliffe.

And Jemma wouldn't let Stacey get a sneak peak of the surprise party.

"Stacey wasn't allowed down the garden at all. She had to stay in the house the whole day and she didn't walk out until when it started, so she had no idea at all!" she said.

"Some of it I arranged quite far in advance, but the majority I did in a week and I did it literally the week before because I knew what I wanted. So I did it very quickly!"

The Loose Women star, 31, looked stunning in a pink dress with a Rapunzel-style plait.

The emotional presenter enjoyed a day of celebrations ahead of welcoming their daughter with fiancé Joe Swash, 39.

Enjoying some alfresco dining, Stacey looked like a Disney Princess as she sat at the table which was beautifully decorated with pink dinner plates.

In one photo, Stacey and Joe shared a tender moment as they lovingly gazed into each others eyes.

The next snap shows the couple grinning from ear to ear, as Joe cradles Stacey's bump.

The former EastEnders star is also seen giving his gorgeous fiancé a sweet peck on the cheek.

Stacey admitted that the was touched by the efforts her sister Jem's efforts to organise the special day.

She penned: "The baby shower. Feeling so overwhelmed and emotional… What a beautiful day.

"My sister arranged a baby shower for me and our little girl and it was so special.

"I love you Jem Jem to the moon and back. I can’t believe she’s nearly here. So grateful for everything. And thank you sun for shining today."
