Strictly Come Dancing 2021 has been eventful from the get-go with sudden drop-outs, dazzling routines and some history-making moments from the contestants. Now it is just down to two couples: Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice against John Whaite and Johannes Radebe. has everything you need to know on how they all do on the night.

Rose and Giovanni’s Judges’ Choice

The pair took fans back to Musical Week for a delightful Quickstep to Love is An Open Door from Frozen.

Dressed as Anna, Rose and partner Giovanni skipped across the dancefloor and left a positive impression with the judges.

John and Johannes’ Judges’ Choice

The former Great British Bake Off winner John and Johannes once again showed off their sensual sides as the judges opted in for their Rumba.

John and Johannes danced the same routine to Shape of My Heart by Sting and left everyone in the audience feeling very emotional.

Rose and Giovanni’s Couple’s Choice

When it came to the celebrities picking their favourite dances from the series, Rose wanted to relive a very memorable routine.

She and Giovanni went for their routine to Symphony by Clean Bandit which featured a moment of silence to portray what it is like for the deaf community watching the show.

As it had done the first time around, everyone was stunned by the beauty of the dance.

John and Johannes’ Couple’s Choice

Movie Week was on John and Johannes’ minds for their Couples’ Choice.

They went for the passionate Paso Doble to He’s a Pirate by Klaus Badelt from Pirates of the Caribbean.

The fiery performance got a vigorous round of applause from the judges and audience alike.

Rose and Giovanni’s Show Dance

The finalists wanted to slow it down for their final showstopper with a performance to The Rose by Bette Midler.

Rose and Giovanni were able to convey a truly romantic dance to finish off their experience on the show.

John and Johannes’ Show Dance

To contrast their rivals, John and Johannes lifted the ballroom’s atmosphere with a routine to You’ve Got The Love by Florence + the Machine.

The pair were determined to finish off Strictly on a high with a buzzy routine filled with energy.

The finalists’ routines are not the only performances to be enjoyed during the final.

Strictly Come Dancing welcomed back the class of 2021 for an extraordinary group dance, featuring moments from throughout the season.

The BBC One series also welcomed singer Ed Sheeran to the dance floor for a guest performance.

Sadly, not everyone has been able to make it to the big night.

Presenter AJ Odudu had to pull out of the competition at the last minute due to a torn ligament in her foot.

Meanwhile, celebrity chef Tilly Ramsay contracted coronavirus and is in isolation.

Comedian Robert Webb exited the show also because of ongoing health issues following open-heart surgery two years ago.
