The Chase fans couldn't stop swooning when a handsome contestant appeared on Monday's show (February 13).

Host Bradley Walsh welcomed four new players ready to take on chaser Darragh 'The Menace' Ennis in the studio in a bid to win a big cash prize; Theo, Suzi, Fey and Alan.

But it was 24-year-old Theo who became a fan-favourite, because he left viewers gushing over his handsome looks just minutes into the episode.

Fans of The Chase love a hunky player, so it's no surprise they were distracted during the latest episode.

Rushing to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Theo is fit as #thechase."

Another agreed: "Hello Theo [gushing emoji]."

A third said: "Damn, Theo was some good eye candy."

And one viewer reckoned he looked rather like former X Factor star and This Morning presenter Rylan Clark as they commented: "Rylan will be trending soon."

A fourth added: "Theo looks a bit like Rylan Clark."

But sadly, Theo's fans weren't able to spend too much time with the social media manager as chaser Darragh managed to send him packing.

Theo racked up £3k in his cash builder, but he struggled with his geography as he appeared to think "Pakistan" was located in North Africa, when it is actually in South Asia.

Theo chose the middle offer, but Darragh was too good and knocked him out of the show.

Fey and Alan did better and made it to the final with a total of £12k, although they only managed to rack up 11 points, so Darragh caught them with 57 seconds on the clock.

Bradley and Darragh told them they'd be kicking themselves when they watch the episode back as they lost their heads and missed out on easy answers.

The Chase airs weeknights at 5pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
