The Chase fans were perplexed by a player's controversial choice at the start of Thursday's episode.
Richie, Keziah, Ann and Rory were playing tonight to hopefully win some mega cash.
Author Rory was the first player to take part tonight and he earned £6k in his cash-builder.
However, the player decided to take the low offer of £1k in a bid to make it back to the team for the final chase.
Rory he "would rather be a coward with a £1,000", than be brave but and get nothing as he prepared to for his round against Chaser Mark The Beast Labbett.
The Chase fans were outraged over his choice, but Labbett insisted the contestant had made a good choice.
He said: "A few people watching the telly now might be screaming but it's certainly a reasonable strategic decision."
Rory managed to make it through his round and Mark concluded he made the right decision by taking the low offer.
The quizzing expert said: "I'd argue that seat 1 should consider the low offer each time".
Bradley replied: "But not if they're a good player like that…"
However, Mark was convinced it was a good way to play the game as he added: "Get away from the middle offer, go low or go high."
