This Morning fans fuming over Holly & Phils disgraceful Jeremy Hunt interview

This Morning viewers were left bitterly disappointed after watching hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield interview chancellor Jeremy Hunt.

Holly and Phil grilled the chancellor about all sorts on Thursday's (March 16) show, including NHS strikes, struggling doctors and nurses, and his Spring budget which was announced on Wednesday.

But at one point, Phil asked the politician whether he would delete TikTok following reports that the social media app would be banned from UK government phones.

And many viewers were left unimpressed as they felt the hosts went too easy on the MP during the interview and didn't challenge him enough on the topics that mattered most.

Rushing to complain, one wrote: "What an absolute disgraceful one sided , a*** licking interview of Jeremy Hunt , shame on the presenters on #ThisMorning."

Another agreed: "Grotesque "cuddly" "gentle" interview of Jeremy Hunt on ITV's #ThisMorning."

A third asked: "So #ThisMorning , what did we learn from @Jeremy_Hunt today? How were the viewing figures? How's the interviewer training program going?"

They added: "Jeremy Hunt will walk away from that with a smug smile on his face."

One asked: "Oooh Phil and Holly interviewing Jeremy hunt on #ThisMorning …… Phil: "Will you be deleting TikTok?"

Asked, Jeremy smiled as he replied: “I actually took TikTok off my phone a while ago. Was I told to? No, I decided to do it.

"It was difficult to take it off because it’s so addictive and some of those videos are very clever but we have to think about security concerns.”

He then revealed what his children thought when they watched their father delivering the budget.

He said, “My daughter said, ‘Daddy, it was a pantomime wasn’t it?’…”
