The ongoing fuel crisis was a big topic on Monday’s instalment of This Morning. Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield welcomed Julia Hartley-Brewer and Matthew Wright onto the programme to debate the issue. However, during the discussion, Phillip made it clear he had strong views about people panic buying petrol.
Leading the debate about panic buyers, Phillip exclaimed: “It just seems unbelievably selfish!”
Matthew agreed, but also took aim at the government noting there were some “blame games going on”.
He suggested the government should have put plans in place for the issues surrounding HGV drivers.
Matthew questioned: “If it was foreseen, how come we are still in this situation?”
