ANTIQUE fans will be well acquainted with Christina Trevanion.
The celeb auctioneer has become a frequent feature on our TV screens and is back with a new BBC One show called The Travelling Auctioneers alongside Will Kirk.
Who is Christina Trevanion and what is she famous for?
Christina Helen Johanne Trevanion, born on June 12 1981, is an auctioneer and television personality.
Trevanion graduated as a Fine Arts Valuation student from Southampton, before specialising in jewellery, silver and watches.
Since then, she has over sixteen years at Christie's, Halls and Hanson
She is now a managing partner at auctioneers and valuers Trevanion.
Christina rose to fame as an expert on the BBC show Bargain Hunt in 2019.
A role which she has described as “a complete honour and a privilege".

Aside from Bargain Hunt, Christina has made appearances in shows like Antiques Road Trip, Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is and Flog It!
In October 2022, it was announced that she will be the host of a new show on BBC One alongside Will Kirk called The Travelling Auctioneers.
The show will follow the pair as they journey around the UK in their mobile auction house and workshop.
Speaking about the series, she said: “It’s really exciting to be a part of such an innovative new series and working alongside Will.”
Is Christina Trevanion married and does she have children?
Christina met her husband and future business partner Aaron Dean during her studies at Southampton Solent University.
The pair tied the knot in 2014.
They set up their own auction business together under the name of Trevanion & Dean which is located on Whitchurch, Shropshire
In 2019, Christina took on sole ownership of the firm.

Speaking about his departure from the firm: "I am delighted that Christina is now taking over the business, I look forward to watching it flourish under her leadership.
"I have had a wonderful four years at Trevanion and Dean, full of fun and laughter, and it is now time for me to move on."
The couple have two daughters together.
Christina rarely shares any information on her family so it isn't known what they're called or how old they are.
However, she did open up about her kids getting in the way of her antique collection.

Speaking to Antique Collecting back in 2016, Christina was discussing her favourite pieces at home, explaining she has "an eclectic mix" of items.
She said: "[I have] an eclectic mix of inherited family pieces and treasured saleroom purchases, I have two small children and so my 18th century teapot collection was packed away until they get a little older!"
