Lil Uzi Vert hits out at trolls after getting 10-Carat diamond worth $24MILLION implanted in his forehead

RAPPER Lil Uzi Vert hit out at trolls this week after getting a 10-Carat diamond worth $24million implanted in his forehead.

Lil Uzi, whose real name is Symere Woods, took to social media on Friday to slam anyone hating on his new body addition.

The 26-year-old performer – known for his face tattoos, facial piercings, and eccentric hairstyles – tweeted on Thursday night: "THIS IS FASHION."

He appeared to be responding to critical Twitter comments urging him to "take it out please" and "stop lying… and get it out of your head now."

Some Twitter users said the diamond looked "stupid" and others said it looked crooked.

On Friday morning, Woods wrote in another tweet: "I never cared about judgmental people on this earth …"

A few hours later he followed up with a tweet reading: "Why Y’all Think I’m This Way Y’all NEVer Really liked ME and I love it."

Earlier this week, Woods revealed the stone to fans with a post on social media on Wednesday.

Footage showed him sat wearing sunglasses with the stone seemingly stuck in the center of his forwarded.

A caption to the clip read: "Beauty is pain."

But a photo later posted in a now-deleted tweet showed Woods with what appeared to be blood running from beneath the diamond and down his nose.

A caption read: “If I don’t get it took out the right way, I could die 😂 ….. No seriously."

The image sparked concern among fans, with one writing: “Bro, if this is not safe, you better take it off. I don’t want to see you dead.”

But Woods later posted another clip showing himself without the blood and with the diamond still in his head.

"Ok we good," he wrote, later adding: "I’m literally tryna turn into a Diamond 💎 "

Woods is a musician from Philadelphia who is most associated with hip hop and emo rap.

He rose to prominence in 2016 and is known for his many face tattoos, facial piercing, and eccentric hairstyles.

He first discussed the diamond in a series of tweets posted over the weekend.

“I’ve been paying for a natural pink diamond from Elliot for years now,” he wrote.

Elliot Eliantte is a jeweller known for serving the high-end and celebrity markets.

A social media post by Eliantte on Saturday showed a hand holding the diamond to Woods's forehead with the caption: "IT'S TIME"

Woods continued: “This one Stone cost so much I’ve been paying for it since 2017.

"That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond. A lot of M’s in my face

“Yes, my Bugatti can’t even pay for it… all my cars together, plus home, this took so long now I can get this money.”

He later added that the diamond contains almost 11 carats.

Woods also hit the headlines in 2018 after rumours began circulating online that he had been shot.
