Where is Barack Obama today?

On October 24, 2021, Bruce Springsteen and Obama appeared on CBS to talk more about their podcast and upcoming book Renegades.

On October 23, Obama hit the campaign trail to urge Democratic Virginians to re-elect Terry McAuliffe as governor.

McAuliffe served as the state's governor from 2014 to 2018.

The pair spoke to a crowd at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond  ahead of the November 2 elections.

Last month, Obama visited Manhattan on Saturday, September 11, to attend a memorial commemorating the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.

Obama joined his wife, former first lady Michelle Obama, former President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden at Ground Zero attending the 9/11 ceremony.

In August 2021 for his 60th birthday, Obama was set to celebrate his 60th birthday with a star-studded bash in a lavish outdoor event at his $12million Martha’s Vineyard estate in Massachusetts on August 7.

In a statement, spokeswoman Hannah Hankins said: “Due to the new spread of the Delta variant over the past week, the President and Mrs. Obama have decided to significantly scale back the event to include only family and close friends.

“He’s appreciative of others sending their birthday wishes from afar and looks forward to seeing people soon.”

Obama reportedly invited 475 guests and employed 200 staff to work the event despite the rising number of Covid cases nationwide.

The former president was slammed for his plans to host a large celebration as the Delta variant continues to surge.
